Dear Friend of Masamune Dojo Please join us in South Birmingham for a weekend of Iaido and Jodo. We will enjoy an international inter-club Seminar on
Saturday 7th June, featuring Jikiden and Shinden styles, designed to promote harmony and better understanding of the differences between the styles.
The following Sensei will be assisting with both the teaching at the Seminar and the judging for the Taikai:
We also have the pleasure of MR NAKAGAWA SENSEI attending the weekend for a special demonstration and participation of Tamashigiri during Saturday afternoon 2 - 4.30 pm.
On Sunday 8th June, there will be a Goodwill Taikai with both Individual and Team Events for Iaido and Jodo. Four special presentations will also be made to honour those who have walked the path before us. The Haruna Sensei, Ishido Sensei, Morita Sensei, Oshita Sensei trophies will be awarded to the iaidoka who exemplify the Gotoku, (five virtues of the Hakama)- loyalty, justice, compassion, honour, and respect.

Costs: Saturday seminar (without Tamashigiri and Taikai): £20
Saturday seminar and Tamashigiri (this will include individual instruction from Mr Nakagawa Sensei, the preparation and
provision of mats and a sword to cut): £60
Attending only the Tamashigiri session: £45
Entry fee for Taikai - Individual £10
